Steps to make Dhokar Dalna:
  1. In a bowl add besan, turmeric powder,salt, cumin seed, carom seed, hing, garam masala, coriander leaves and green chilli. Mix it with 2-3 cup of water.
  2. Now in a pan heat mustard oil. Pour the besan mixture. Stir continuously until it becomes dry. Add one grated potato. Mix well. Then switch the flame off.
  3. On a plate spread some oil. Then pour the besan mixture on it. And set the mixture. After 15 minutes or after it sets then cut into square shape.
  4. Now in a karahi heat oil. Fry the besan pieces. Then take it out from karahi.
  5. Now in the same oil add whole green cardamom, cinnamon,cloves. After few second add chopped onion in it. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add tomato paste, ginger and garlic paste. Cook for two minutes. Add salt, sugar, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder. Cook for 3-4 minutes.or until oil separates from the sides.
  7. Now add two cups of water and boil it. Add besan pieces and boiled potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes.
  8. When gravy thickens add garam masala powder and ghee. Serve it with plain rice.
