- Use 2 cup Hot water for kneading

Once the dough is pressed, transfer the plate to a steamer and steam the idiyappam for 10 mins. After 10 mins of steaming, rest the idli plates for 5 minutes before removing the idiyappam. Serve idiyappam with sweet coconut milk.
