- Take 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- Prepare 1 tbsp sugar powder
- Provide For chana:-
- Take 1 cup boil deshi chana / black chickpeas
- Get 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- Get 2 tbsp. Oil
- Prepare to taste Salt
- Provide 1 pc. Onion
- You need 1 pc tomato
- Prepare 1 tbsp. Besan / gram flour
- Get 1/4 tsp asofoetida
- You need 1 tsp garam masala
- Use 1 tsp. dry corriender cumin powder
- Provide as needed Garnish with sev
- Get as needed Peanut
- Take as required Coconut slit
- You need 2 tbsp Roasted peanut
Instructions to make Chevda Chana:
- Roast poha on slow flame for 3-4min and take in a paraat.Soak chana for 6-7 hrs and boil add salt and 1tsp oil and make 7-8 whistle
- Now heat oil add chopped onion asofoetida salt and saute. till it looks transparent add chopped tomato, besan saute properly add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dry coriander, cumin powder,salt, boiled chana saute for a min. And add 2 glass of water cover and cook on a mid. slow flame lastly add garam masala.cook for 10 min on slow flame to enhance taste. And serve with chevda.
- Now heat oil in big pan. Fry peanut, dalia and curry patta.take out in a plate.Add crushed dry coriander fennel seeds. And saute add sesame seeds onion slices and slited green chilli, dry coconut slit fry till turns black like birasta on slow flame for crunch. Add turmeric powder.and salt.
- Now add roasted poha,peanuts,dalia and curry patta. Mix properly. Add garam masala and stir continuosly. All ingredients should resemble with each other and poha cook properly.. Lastly add sugar powder and turn off the flame.
