  3. Khichadi— In a pressure cooker add soaked rice,dal, turmeric powder,salt and 3 cups water.Pressure cook it only for one whistle. Turn off the flame.
  4. In a pan heat ghee.Add mustard seeds. When it splutter add cumin seeds, green chilli,ginger onions and hing.Cook till onions become brown.Add red chilli powder.Mix it well.
  5. Now pour this tadka over the cooked khichadi.Mix gently.
