- Step 1 : Wash the chanadal and sock for 1 hour.

- Step 5: Add a pinch of turmeric powder, salt to taste, 1 table spoon red chilli powder and cook it till the raw smell goes.
- Step 6 : Add tamarind juice, coconut milk, add required amount of water and cover the lid and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
