  1. To make dosa batter: soak rice and dals separately for 4-5 hours and then grind to a fine paste. Mix rice and dal paste. Keep covered for 7-8 hours for fermentation.

  3. Heat a tawa and apply some oil over it to make tawa smooth. Apply some oil over the net dosa pour the aloo masala and fold it in dosa shape and serve with chutney and sambhar.
  4. To make aloo masala: heat oil in a kadahi, add cumins and mustard seeds and curry leaves, let it crackle. Add onions, saute till golden brown, add tomatoes and green chilli and saute for 2-3 minutes or till tomatoes are done.
